FCCLA members who were not able to attend the Souper Bowl of Caring Scavenger Hunt Tuesday night need to bring five (5) nonperishable fooditems to the FACS room by Tuesday of next week.
Seniors: don't forget to bring your food items for the After Prom bake sale to the games this evening.
Hanover takes on Washington County High School in basketball games this evening. We have a number of events scheduled. It is Senior Night and we will honor our seniors and their parents between the varsity games. There will be a bake sale (Seniors - and their parents- are responsible for bringing the dessert items to raffle off.) for which the proceeds will go to sponsor After-Prom events. Children in grades K-6 have the opportunity to learn dances from our cheerleaders and show their talents during half time of the boys varsity game. And then, folks will have a chance to "Shoot for Loot" in a competition sponsored by the Citizens National Bank out of Greenleaf! Hope to see everyone there!
FBLA deadline for payment is quickly approaching. If you plan to attend State FBLA, payment must be made by the end of the day Friday, Feb. 19, or you don't attend.

Hanover Forensics Meet is tomorrow, Febr. 20th. Start time is officially 8:00; however, various schools will be arriving from 7:00 a.m. on. Thank you to all community members who are helping with this event as judges! We could not do the job without you.
Spelling bee contestants who are traveling to Washington Co. Elementary School via Hanover Elementary vans need to be here by 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Transportation vehicles will be on the east side of the gymnasium for students. Mrs. Hagedorn and Mrs. Coufal will be driving and waiting for students to load directly into school vehicles from parents' vehicles. Good luck, competitors!
There is a Site Council meeting scheduled for Monday, Febr. 22nd at 7:00 in Mrs. Strnad's room.
Monday, Febr. 15
TEACHER IN-SERVICE DAY. No school for students.
High School BB tonight at Axtell. (rescheduled due to inclement weather). JV girls will start play at 4:45 in the new Axtell gym. The JV boys will play at 6:00 in the old gym. At 6:15, the Varsity girls will play in the new gym and the Varsity boys game will follow - around 7:30 or so.
Tuesday, Feb. 16
NHS lunch meeting today.
STUCO officers need to see Mrs. Converse today in preparation for our meeting tomorrow.
Congratulations to the junior high boys who took 3rd place in the Blue Valley League Jr. High Basketball Tournament this past Saturday. Washington Co. Jr. High took first place and Valley Heights, second.
Forensics Judges Meeting tonight @ 7:00 in Mrs. Strnad's room.
There will be a mandatory forensics meeting in the high school library Thursday over lunch. Bring any questions you have concerning the tournament.
High school cheerleaders: don't forget practice @ St. John's tonight @ 5:30.

Seniors please have your graduation payments in by the end of the day today. Mr. Johnson, the Jostens rep. will be here tomorrow morning around 9:30 to pick up your payments. We want to send the payments with him so we don't have to mail them. He will also be delivering the state football championship rings to the coaches and football team.
