FBLA will have a lunch meeting today in the cafeteria (elementary students will be in the gym during lunch).
FBLA District competition is tomorrow at Washington. First bus will depart at 8:00 a.m. from front of school. Second bus will depart at 10:30. Everyone will be back to Hanover by 2:00 p.m.
Students and staff are reminded to exercise care when traveling between buildings. We have cleared the sidewalks and put down ice pellets, but there may still be some slick places.
THANK YOU for the wonderful food sale items brought by junior parents at the basketball games on Tuesday. Proceeds amounting to $167.00 were raised for After Prom. Super job!Senior parents are asked to bring food items (desserts, rolls, etc.) for sale at the Febr. 19th game.
Please get senior information sheets in to Mrs. Hynek as soon as possible.
There will be an FBLA member party on Monday, February 8th at the Washington bowling alley at 7:00 p.m. There will be no school transportation and members will be expected to pay their own way. Contact Rory or Connor by Friday, Febr. 5th if you plan to attend.
Starting Monday, Febr. 8th, the elementary classes will have a competition to see which class can bring the most change for the March of Dimes. Cans will be placed in classrooms on Monday. This event is sponsored by FBLA. Contact Aaron Diederich is you have questions.
Freshmen sweat pant sales will end this Friday, Febr. 5th. See Mrs. Hoover if you want to place an order.

Senior Information Sheets are due to Mrs. Hynek. (This is the information for the Marysville Advocate which features Seniors).
If you have not ordered your HHS Yearbook, make sure you do so by Friday, Febr. 12th. Turn your money in to Mrs. Hynek.
Exercise caution today and tomorrow as you walk between school buildings. Slippery conditions may exist and we don't want any of you to get hurt! (No snowball throwing either!)
In case of inclement weather which may prohibit extracurricular activities, pay close attention to the various radio and TV stations. Administrators will also activate SchoolReach phone calls to parents if necessary
Good luck to Scholars Bowl participants as they head to Regional competition in Frankfort today. Please release Austin Jueneman, Nicole Spencer, Emily White, Jennifer Kruse and Ryan Diederich (Jr) at 2:15.
Jr. High BB tonight at Clifton-Clyde. First game is at 4:30. All games will be played in Clifton. Game order: B-team girls, B-team boys, A-team girls, A-team boys. Good luck in these final games of the season prior to the BVL Tournament which starts next Monday, February 8th.
No meetings about Boys and Girls State today. They are postponed until Friday at the same time.
The TVL forensics sign up sheet in in Mrs. Strnad's room. Now is the time to turn in your judges sheets to Mrs. Strnad.

What a nice job our cheerleaders in performing their tribute to Michael Jackson dance last night! Hope you got to see them dance during half-time of the Varsity Boys game.

The Wichita Children's Theatre will present "Little Red Riding Hood" for our students in Grades K-3 at 9:30 this morning in the gym. At 1:30, they troupe will present "Miss Clara's Classroom Calamity" for Grades 4-6 in the gym. Enjoy!
High school cheerleaders will practice after basketball practice on Thursday.
Many FCCLA students are involved in STAR competitions at Frankfort today. They should return around 2:00 this afternoon.

Mr. Groundhog saw his shadow this morning! Get ready for six more weeks of winter... But, the sun is shining today! Enjoy life one day at a time to its fullest.
HHS vs Valley Heights in basketball tonight with games beginning at 4:45. Our JV boys will start things off in high school gym. At 6:15 the C-team boys will play at St. John's when the Varsity girls play in the high school gym. Around 7:45 when the Varsity boys play in the high school gym, there will be two quarters of a game played by the JV girls in the St. John's gym.
Tomorrow the Wichita Children's Theatre will present to our K-3 students in the gym at 9:30 and to the 4-6 grade students at 1:30. St. John's students will be joining us. (Teachers, take note that your PE times may be held at St. John's and recesses may also need to be in alternative settings.)

Jr High BB @ Linn tonight. First games should begin at 5:45 with varsity games in the new gym, girls first. B-team boys in the old gym @ 5:45, followed by B-team girls.

There is an FCCLA Board meeting during lunch today. On Tuesday (tomorrow), there will be an FCCLA chapter meeting during lunch. On Wednesday, all FCCLA members will be leaving for STAR events at 7:15 a.m. in Frankfort and will return around 2:00 p.m.
