Friday, October 9th
STUCO members who were to write homecoming thank you notes and have not turned them in to Mrs. Converse, please do so today.
The high school volleyball players and coaches will leave for the Marysville tournament tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. Good luck!
FCCLA members: Note that the Adopt-a-Highway night has been moved to next Thursday, Oct. 15.
There is a Hunter Education Course being offered October 24th & 25th at the National Guard Armory in Marysville. Enrollment is October 18 at 5:00 p.m. If you want to attend the course, YOU MUST ATTEND THE ENROLLMENT on the 18th as well. If you have questions, contact Doc Lyhane (785.562.5604) or Scott Drinkgern (337.2827).
Teacher Inservice on Monday, Oct. 12th all day. No school for students! Athletic events will continue as scheduled or per coaches discretion.

Parents as Teachers PLAYGROUP will be in Hanover tomorrow in the gym from 9:30-10:30.
The is a BOE meeting at 7:00 Monday night. Board members will tour our buildings prior to the meeting in the FACS room at 7:30.
Thursday, October 8th
All FCCLA members who received an Adopt-A-Highway parental consent form need to get those signed and returned to Mrs. Kyner before Thursday's clean-up. Freshmen, Juniors and new members should have received this form.
Please dismiss Jr. High VB/FB players @ 3:10 to leave for the games @ Clifton.
The Marysville Invitational Volleyball Tournament is this Saturday. Hanover girls are seeded sixth our of ten and will play their first match around 10:00 against Chapman.
K-6 students: Start collecting your boxtops for the Boxtop challenge and help make money for our school. A special prize will be awarded to the winning class. Next BOXTOP tally will occur Oct. 15th.
Wednesday, October 7th
The shower heads have been temporarily removed for cleaning in the junior high girls' locker room. Girls who use that locker room and need to shower after PE class will need to use the high school locker room showers for now.
There will be an FCCLA chapter meeting today in the FACS room during lunch.
Anyone interested in purhcasing Benefit Raffle TIckets for Kevin Larrison, a former HHS athletic trainer, contact Coach Lohse. The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Prizes include the following: 1st - Ruger 10/22 rifle w/synthetic stock, 2nd - KU 09-10 Autographed Bsketball, 3rd - Walnut Rocker Cradle, 4th - 2 KU Mens Basketball Tickets, 5th - Bill Snyder Autographed Football, 6th - John Deere Popcorn Gift Basket, 7th Jordy Nelson Autographed Football.
There is no JV football game next Monday, Oct. 12th against Linn.
Tuesday, October 6th
High school cheerleaders will have practice tonight after volleyball practic.
The last home Varsity volleyball games will be played this evening when Hanover plays Wa. Co. and Wetmore. Matches begin at 5:00. Our seniors - Shelby Jueneman and Allison Bruna will be honored. Hope to see you there!
Monday, October 5th
This is NATIONAL FIRE SAFETY WEEK! To celebrate our firefighters and their departments and learn more about fire safety, we have a special presentation for our K-6th grade students. The presentation will be given by our local fire department on Wednesday, Oct. 7th at 2:45 at the St. John's parking lot. Mr. Marty Coufal will lead the demonstration.
The Junior Class will clean up after the home football game against Hope this Friday night.
FBLA members need to turn in all pizza sales and money by the end of the day. If money is not submitted, student(s) will not be counted for eligibility for district competition.
Congratulations to the football team for its victory (48-0) over Blue Valley. Also, congratulations to the volleyball team for its 2nd place finish in the Linn Volleyball Tournament on Saturday (3-1).
