3rd Reading Syllabus
Course Description: 

We are using Scott Foresman Reading Street Textbooks, CARS, and START Program, Study Island, and novel units. This course is designed to introduce high-quality literature to each student through comprehension skills and strategies, vocabulary, writing, and spelling to prepare 3rd Grade students. 

Learning/Development Goals:

This course is designed to meet the Common Core standards for 3rd grade reading instruction. 

Learning Outcome: The student will demonstrate mastery of Common Core Standards for 3rd grade reading instruction using formal and informal assessments along with teacher observations.
